Legend Trail is also home to the world famous John Jacobs’ Golf Schools and the John Jacobs/Shelby Futch Golf Academy where top notch instructors will help you tune up your game to go with your newly tuned golf clubs. A fantastic combination!
Legend Trail is all bent grass which as you may know by now is preferred by the vast majority of the golfing public. Perfectly manicured to gain those extra yards off the tee and roll true on the greens.
In addition to the Hot Stix Fitting Centre and the John Jacobs Golf/Shelby Futch Golf Academy there are other unique things that make Legend Trail the place to play.
Speaking of legends, one is likely to see the world famous Rocker and Legend Trail spokesperson Alice Cooper playing his daily 18 holes. This is one of his favorite courses in Scottsdale. In addition to Alice, you might just see the San Francisco Giants or Glen Campbell playing a round there as well.
Legend Trail has been ranked in the top 100 Public Facilities by Golf Magazine, ranked 15th on the list of Arizona’s Best Overall Courses by Golf Digest, ranked 7th on the Golf Digest list of Arizona’s Best Public Courses, voted in the top 100 on the list of Golf Shop Operations and received the Top 100 Fairways, Women Friendly Award from Golf For Women magazine.
