The Grand Opening of The Loon’s sparkling new resort lodging facilities will take place in 2011. These units once again will be very affordable and perfect for those golf getaways that we all look forward to each year. These units are located 100 yards or less from the clubhouse and come equipped with full refrigerator, microwave, dishes, flat screen TV’s and of course WI-FI Internet.
The course is a classic course designed by Mike Husby. It opened in June of 1994 to rave reviews. It is still getting rave reviews having won countless awards and tournament hosting accolades. The Loon has hosted such premiere events as the Northern Michigan PGA Championship, the Buick Scramble sectionals and the Michigan PGA Seniors Championship on more than one occasion.
