Located at Riverside California between Los Angeles and Palm Springs is the most stunning public access golf course we have seen. Stunning for many reasons but most importantly, value for your dollar. You will not find value like this just anywhere !
Crafted and designed by PGA and Champions Tour star, Dr. Gil Morgan and the Schmidt-Curley Design Team, Oak Quarry is owned by Koss Golf and skillfully managed by Hank Schiller ,PGA, Head Professional and General Manager. We must thank Hank for his gracious invitation to visit Oak Quarry once again , just to remind us of how wonderful a place he is responsible for managing on a daily basis.
The course opened in 2000 after being artfully carved from the Jensen Quarry which provided limestone, marble and many minerals to the building of private residences, roads and buildings in Los Angeles and outlying areas.
Mountainous vistas of colorful natural flowers and grasses perfectly framed by the rough beauty and shades of grays and whites of the old quarry. You won’t soon forget this course especially hole #14 which has been rated the best par 3 in Southern California. We fully agree ! In fact , 14 ranks up there with the world’s best !!

Oak Quarry has won many deserving awards including the L.A.Times “ top ten must play list ” , the #1 Best Course in Inland Southern California by Press Enterprise.
Top 18 Best Courses on the West Coast by Fairways and Greens. Maybe the most important accolade of all is the “High Excellent” rating from the prestigious Zagat Survey by which many golf industry facilities set their standards of performance and service.
Golf Destination Review is delighted that Oak Quarry has also been the recipient of the highly coveted “Best Course We Have Played “ award.
This award was well deserved by Koss Golf and especially Hank Schiller and his wonderful staff who work so hard to make this a world class golf facility during such difficult economic times.
