When Michigan’s own Jerry Mathews put his design together for the St. Ives Golf Course, he cleverly made use of the terrain’s dramatic 80 foot elevation changes.

The meandering fairways are surrounded by huge pines, hardwood and wetlands with many scenic lake views. Like Tullymore, the St. Ives setting adds to the unique and inviting golf experience.

The St. Ives’ clubhouse is a favourite spot to hold weddings and almost any kind of celebration that the mind can dream up. One only needs to step out the door of the clubhouse to get those spectacular wedding photos.

Golf Digest awarded Tullymore its highest rating of 5 stars, The Shinglebolt Creek winds through the course, providing the occasional dare. Guarded by sturdy oak sentinels, the speedy Tullymore greens have a variety of shapes and sizes. The bunkers are seemingly magnetic in attracting golf balls, but they can be tricked into giving up the elusive “sand save”.

Historic tales keep perpetuating themselves about Tullymore’s award winning layout. In 2002 Tullymore was named No. 1 “New Upscale Public Course in America by Golf Digest. Since that time more honours have poured in.

Tullymore has been awarded Golf Digest’s highest rating, the prestigious “Best Places to Play” 5 stars in 2008 – 2010.
